MSA V-Gard® Product Specifications

V-Gard Protective Caps and Hats from MSA consist of a polyethylene shell and suspension system working together as a protection system.

• V-Gard headwear features advanced styling in either cap or hat styles.
• Size 6 1/2 - 8.
• V-Gard Caps and Hats meet or exceed the applicable requirements for a Type I (top impact) helmet as outlined in ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2009 (Class E).
• V-Gard Caps and Hats also meet the ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2009 voluntary standard for reverse donning.
• V-Gard Caps and Hats are not specifically designed to protect against lateral blows from the front, side or rear.
• The lightweight construction makes the helmet comfortable to wear while still providing additional lateral protection.
